Defining and classifying syncope
There is no widely adopted definition or classification of syncope and related disorders. This lack of uniformity harms patient care, research, and medical education. In this article, syncope is defined as a form of transient loss of consciousness (TLOC)

Bilateral SERS‐Microneedle Patch for Co‐Diagnosis of Diabetes Mellitus and Tuberculosis Comorbidity
Our study introduced a U@mP@Au‐mediated bilateral SERS‐microneedle patch for analyzing glucose levels from ISF and sensitively detecting TB biomarkers from sputum, respectively. This integrated dual‐analyte detecting platform can be used for co‐diagnosis of diabetes mellitus (DM) and tuberculosis (TB) comorbidity, which was demonstrated in ex vivo ...

Precursor stoichiometry programs the surface chemistry of carbon dots, directing their self‐assembly into distinct aggregation modes. Aldehyde‐enriched surfaces form ordered, hydrogen‐bonded assemblies that enable bright red solid‐state fluorescence, whereas amine‐rich surfaces promote compact π–π stacked aggregates with broadband visible‐light ...

A bandgap‐engineered PtxTey:Ag2Te quantum dot platform enables tunable NIR‐IIb emission for deep‐tissue imaging and mild photothermal therapy. Conjugation with αPD‐L1 confers dual tumor targeting and real‐time monitoring of PD‐L1 dynamics. Mild photothermal modulation induces immune reprogramming, enhancing checkpoint blockade efficacy and achieving ...

Precisely Printing Perovskite Nanocrystals in Glass via Thermoelectric Synergistic Effect
Based on the direct migration and enrichment of Cs ions in glass driven by thermoelectric fields, a novel method has been developed to achieve controllable crystallization and patterned distribution of CsPbBr3 PNCs in stable glass. The distribution scale of PNCs strongly depends on the thermoelectric processing conditions (temperature, electric field ...

Evaluation of Syncope: An Overview
Syncope is defined as a sudden temporary loss of consciousness associated with a loss of postural tone, with spontaneous recovery that does not require electrical or chemical cardioversion. Syncope is a common symptom, accounting for 1% to 6% of hospital

Tailored D‐π Conjugation Boosts Piezocatalytic CO2 Reduction in a Platinum(II)‐Acetylide Framework
The highly conjugated metalII‐acetylide framework demonstrates efficient ultrasound‐driven conversion of CO2 to CO. The piezoelectric field generated by ultrasound facilitates electron transfer from the tetraphenylene π‐column to the MII‐bis(acetylide) moiety, enabling CO2 activation. Compared to PdII‐ and NiII‐based analogues, the stronger d–π orbital
