SERRATE Regulates Floral Meristem Activity by Antagonizing SHOOT MERISTEMLESS and Repressing Cytokinin Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Floral meristem (FM) activity is crucial for the initiation of floral organs. In this study, SE represses IPT7 expression and cytokinin signaling via both the miR171c‐5p–KNAT2 and miR164c–CUC1/2–KNAT2 regulatory modules, thereby repressing FM activity. In contrast, STM induces both KNAT2 and IPT7 expression.

Transposase‐Assisted Donor Tethering Boosts Large‐Fragment HDR in Plants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A transposase‐assisted donor tethering strategy is developed to enhance homology‐directed repair in plants. By recruiting donor DNA to double‐strand breaks and synergizing with repair pathway reprogramming and transcription‐coupled donor design, this system markedly improves large‐fragment targeted insertion efficiency, providing a robust platform for ...

Research Progress and Applications of Non‐Carrier‐Injection Electroluminescence

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Non‐carrier‐injection electroluminescence (NCI‐EL) uses AC fields and displacement currents to trigger light from internal charge reservoirs, enabling minimalist emitters with remotely coupled terminals. This review maps shared mechanisms across organics, GaN, quantum dots, and TMDCs, compares planar, interdigital, single‐terminal, and coaxial designs,

Capturing lexical variation in MT evaluation using automatically built sense-cluster inventories [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The strict character of most of the existing Machine Translation (MT) evaluation metrics does not permit them to capture lexical variation in translation.
