Copper‐Catalyzed α‐Carbamoylation of Cyclic β‐Ketoesters
Cu(II) salt‐catalyzed reaction of cyclic β‐ketoesters with isocyanates afforded hitherto inaccessible α‐substituted β,β’‐dicarbonyl amides possessing an all‐carbon quaternary center. A copper‐catalyzed, base‐free α‐carbamoylation of cyclic β‐ketoesters with isocyanates has been developed.
