Horseshoes in Changeful Systems
2008 IEEE Pacific-Asia Workshop on Computational Intelligence and Industrial Application, 2008In this paper we study a changeful system. We show that the system is chaotic by giving a rigorous verification for existence of horseshoes in these systems. We prove that the Poincare maps derived from the system is semi-conjugate to the 2-shift map, and its entropy is no less than log2. Although the system is changeful, the chaotic behavior is robust
