Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

On the behaviour of the solutions of a $k$-order cyclic-type system of max difference equations
summary:We investigate the behaviour of the solutions of a $k$-dimensional cyclic system of difference equations with maximum. More precisely, we study the existence and the number of the equilibria in the case when $k$ is an odd or an even positive ...

In this article, we propose a numerical method based on the fractional Taylor vector for solving multi-term fractional differential equations. The main idea of this method is to reduce the given problems to a set of algebraic equations by utilizing the ...

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Algebraic Reduction and Periodic Solvability in a Coupled Ternary Rational System
In this paper, we investigate a new class of three-component nonlinear rational difference equations of the second order characterized by structured periodic interactions.

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Solvable product-type system of difference equations of second order
We show that the system of difference equations $$ z_{n+1}=\frac{w_n^a}{z_{n-1}^b},\quad w_{n+1}=\frac{z_n^c}{w_{n-1}^d},\quad n\in\mathbb{N}_0, $$ where $a,b,c,d\in\mathbb{Z}$, and initial values $z_{-1}, z_0, w_{-1}, w_0\in\mathbb{C}$, is ...

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.
