Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Numerical Solution of Parabolic Equations by the Box Scheme [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
The box scheme proposed by H. B. Keller is a numerical method for solving parabolic partial differential equations. We give a convergence proof of this scheme for the heat equation, for a linear parabolic system, and for a class of nonlinear parabolic ...

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

System Of Linear Equations , Guassian Elimination

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper linear equations are discussed in detail along with elimination method. Guassian elimination and Guass Jordan schemes are carried out to solve the linear system of equation.

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

Asymptotical analysis of some coupled nonlinear wave equations

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2011
We consider coupled nonlinear equations modelling a family of travelling wave solutions. The goal of our work is to show that the method of internal averaging along characteristics can be used for wide classes of coupled non-linear wave equations such as

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Does the Stochastic Specification of the Linear Expenditure System Matter? [PDF]

open access: yes
When 'income' in a system of demand equations is defined as total expenditure, actual expenditure on any commodity must lie between zero and income, or equivalently, budget shares must lie between zero and one.

Maximum likelihood estimation of the parameters of a system of simultaneous regression equations

open access: yes, 1988
Procedures for computing the full information maximum likelihood (FIML) estimates of the parameters of a system of simultaneous regression equations have been described by Koopmans, Rubin, and Leipnik, Chernoff and Divinsky, Brown, and Eisenpress ...

An unexpected alternative viologen electron mediator site in tungsten‐containing formate dehydrogenase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...
