Matrix Algebra and System of Linear Equations

open access: yes, 2020
U ovome ćemo se radu baviti svojstvima matrica i sustavom linearnih jednadžbi. Najprije ćemo definirati što je matrica, kako ih zovemo prema njihovom obliku, te koje sve operacije možemo raditi s njima.

Solution of arbitrary fully fuzzy matrix equations and pair fully fuzzy matrix equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Control system theory often involved the application of matrix equations and pair matrix equations where there are possibilities that uncertainty conditions can exist.

On iterative methods for some elliptic equations with nonlocal conditions

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2014
The iterative methods for the solution of the system of the difference equations derived from the elliptic equation with nonlocal conditions are considered.

A system of real quaternion matrix equations with applications

open access: yes, 2009
Let H be the real quaternion algebra and H n × m denote the set of all n × m matrices over H . Let P ∈ H n × n and Q ∈ H m × m be involutions, i.e., P 2 = I , Q 2 = I . A matrix A ∈ H n × m is said to be ( P , Q ) -symmetric if A = PAQ .

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for

Computing Generalized Inverse Systems using Matrix Pencil Methods

open access: yes, 2001
We address the numerically reliable computation of generalized inverses of rational matrices in descriptor state-space representation. We put particular emphasis on two classes of inverses: the weak generalized inverse and the Moore-Penrose pseudoinverse.

Ranks and the least-norm of the general solution to a system of quaternion matrix equations

open access: yes, 2009
We in this paper first establish a new expression of the general solution to the consistent system of linear quaternion matrix equations A1X1=C1, A2X2=C2, A3X1B1+A4X2B2=C3, which was investigated recently [Q.W. Wang, H.X. Chang, C.Y.

Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Parallel sparse matrix solution for direct circuit simulation on a multiple FPGA system [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
SPICE, from the University of California, at Berkeley, is the de facto world standard for circuit simulation. SPICE is used to model the behaviour of electronic circuits prior to manufacturing to decrease defects and hence reduce costs. However, accurate

Early‐life high‐fat diet exposure increases Achilles tendon stiffness and induces transcriptomic alterations

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.
