Bounded projections to the Z$\mathcal {Z}$‐factor graph
Abstract Suppose that G$G$ is a free product G=A1∗A2∗⋯∗Ak∗FN$G = A_1 * A_2* \cdots * A_k * F_N$, where each of the groups Ai$A_i$ is torsion‐free and FN$F_N$ is a free group of rank N$N$. Let O$\mathcal {O}$ be the deformation space associated to this free product decomposition. We show that the diameter of the projection of the subset of O$\mathcal {O}

Abstract Purpose Cardiac motion may degrade dose distribution during stereotactic arrhythmia radioablation using the CyberKnife system, a robotic radiosurgery system. This study evaluated the dose distribution changes using a self‐made cardiac dynamic platform that mimics cardiac motion. Methods The cardiac dynamic platform was operated with amplitudes

Ca2+/calmodulin‐dependent kinase II (CaMKII) activation is likely driven by oxidative stress, particularly excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. This study identifies P21‐activated kinase 2 (Pak2) as a novel regulator of ROS‐induced CaMKII activation and abnormal Ca2⁺ dynamics in acute adrenergic and chronic pressure‐overload stressed ...

ABSTRACT Coronary embolism (CE) is a rare yet significant contributor to acute myocardial infarction (AMI), particularly in younger patients. We report a 42‐year‐old male who experienced an AMI following recent cocaine use. Investigations revealed a left ventricular apical thrombus, identified as the source of a distal embolus occluding the right ...

Right Heart Obstructive Disease due to Tumoral Infiltration
ABSTRACT Cardiac tumor infiltration can present with right heart obstruction and peripheral congestion, mimicking other causes of heart failure. Early recognition through imaging is crucial, as surgical intervention may be lifesaving in select cases.

Modeling Hemodynamic Effects of the Closure Procedure of Carotid Artery Endarterectomy
In this study, computational fluid dynamics and geometrical analysis are applied to two patients postcarotid artery endarterectomy (CEA), each closed with a different method. The patch patient who restenosed exhibited a nonphysiological hemodynamic environment, in contrast to the successful primary closure patient.

Adrenal Insufficiency Associated Cardiomyopathy, From Molecule to Clinic: A Comprehensive Review
ABSTRACT Background and Aim Adrenal insufficiency (AI), the lack of glucocorticoids (GCs) production or function with or without a lack of mineralocorticoids (MCs) and adrenal androgens, can result in uncommon but life‐threatening complications like shock, circulatory failure, syncope, arrhythmias, dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), and congestive heart ...

Echocardiographic measurement of myocardial segmental thickness variability (STV) effectively differentiates between ischemic and nonischemic dilated cardiomyopathy. STV, combined with regional wall motion abnormalities (RWMA), provides high diagnostic accuracy, offering a noninvasive alternative to coronary angiography for guiding treatment strategies.
