Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy in relation to fear of childbirth: Evidence from a Finnish cohort

Moderate or severe nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP) is associated with a higher likelihood of fear of childbirth compared with no or mild NVP. The findings suggest that more severe NVP is linked to a greater psychological burden and may affect women's perception of childbirth.
