Role of nelarabine in the treatment of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma.

open access: yesTherapeutics and clinical risk management, 2011
T-cell malignancies have distinct biochemical, immunologic, and clinical features which set them apart from non-T-cell malignancies. In the past, T-cell leukemia portended a worse prognosis than leukemia of B-cell origin. Cure rates have improved with intensification of therapy and advanced understanding of the molecular genetics of T-cell malignancies.

Advancing In Vivo Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Engineering to Accelerate Clinical Translation

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 10, October 2026.
In vivo CAR‐T cell generation directly engineers endogenous T cells using pre‐manufactured gene delivery vectors that target T cells and deliver CAR‐encoding genetic material. The resulting CAR‐T cells expand in vivo and mediate antigen‐specific cytotoxicity.

Therapeutic Exercise Protocol During Hospitalization in Pediatric Oncohematological Patients: Randomized Clinical Trial

open access: yesPhysiotherapy Research International, Volume 31, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Leukemias, lymphomas, and central nervous system tumors are among the most common pediatric cancers and may lead to motor deficits, impaired balance, reduced muscle strength, fatigue, and decreased functional capacity. Early physiotherapy during hospitalization may help prevent inactivity and support functional preservation in this ...

Cross‐Talk Between Histamine H2 Receptor and Glucocorticoid Receptor: Potential Implications in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Treatment

open access: yesPharmacology Research &Perspectives, Volume 14, Issue 5, October 2026.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the impact of histamine H2 receptor activation on glucocorticoid receptor (GR)‐mediated transcriptional activity, as well as its effects on leukemic cell proliferation and chemotherapy resistance. We demonstrate that activation of the histamine H2 receptor by its specific agonist, amthamine, enhances GR transcriptional ...
