Chebyshev type inequalities by means of copulas

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
A copula is a function which joins (or ‘couples’) a bivariate distribution function to its marginal (one-dimensional) distribution functions. In this paper, we obtain Chebyshev type inequalities by utilising copulas.

Construction Material Selection by Using Multi-Attribute Decision Making Based on q-Rung Orthopair Fuzzy Aczel–Alsina Aggregation Operators

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
A contribution of this article is to introduce new q-rung Orthopair fuzzy (q-ROF) aggregation operators (AOs) as the consequence of Aczel–Alsina (AA) t-norm (TN) (AATN) and t-conorm (TCN) (AATCN) and their specific advantages in handling real-world ...

T-Fuzzy Subhypernear-Modules

open access: yesFuzzy Information and Engineering, 2023
The objective of this study is to investigate the fuzzy subhypernear-modules over hypernear-ring by using a triangular norm, which is T-fuzzy subhypernear-modules are a generalization of fuzzy submodules of hyper near-modules, and some related properties

Communication and Language Profiles of Children Treated for Posterior Fossa Brain Tumors

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Cognitive and language deficits are frequently reported sequelae of posterior fossa brain tumors (PFBT). Typically, delayed onset impedes prompt assessment and early intervention. This has devastating implications for quality of life.

∗-fuzzy measure model for COVID-19 disease

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2021
We introduce a mathematical model, namely, ∗-fuzzy measure model for COVID-19 disease and consider some properties of ∗-fuzzy measure such as Lebesque–Radon–Nikodym theorem.

Stressful Events Reported by Childhood Cancer Survivors and Community Controls From the St. Jude Lifetime (SJLIFE) Cohort: A Mixed Method Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Characterizing stressful events reported by childhood cancer survivors experienced throughout the lifespan may help improve trauma‐informed care relevant to the survivor experience. Methods Participants included 2552 survivors (54% female; 34 years of age) and 469 community controls (62% female; 33 years of age) from the St.

Some properties concerning the quasi-inverse of a T-norm [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Some properties of the quasi-inverse operators are presented. They are basic tools in order to reduce complex expressions involving several of such operators.

Some Fixed Point Theorems of Ćirić Type in Fuzzy Metric Spaces

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
The main aim of the current paper is the investigation of possibilities for improvements and generalizations contractive condition of Ćirić in the fuzzy metric spaces. Various versions of fuzzy contractive conditions are studied in two directions. First,

Unheard and Under‐Supported: Health‐Related Quality of Life in Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults With Sickle Cell Disease

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is an autosomal recessive hemoglobinopathy affecting millions of individuals worldwide. The clinical expression and psychosocial burden of SCD vary widely across geographical, cultural, and healthcare system contexts, underscoring the need for setting‐specific approaches to assessment.

Effects of Cancer Treatment on Somatosensory and Nociceptive Processing in Children and Adolescents: A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chemotherapy‐induced peripheral neuropathy remains a major complication in pediatric cancer, with disrupted somatosensory and nociceptive processing being a key aspect. This review synthesizes empirical studies on alterations in somatosensory and nociceptive processing in children and adolescents with cancer.
