Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Aggregating T-equivalence relations [PDF]
This contribution deals with the problem of aggregating Tequivalence relations, in the sense that we are looking for functions that preserve reflexivity, symmetry, and transitivity with respect to a given t-norm T.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Toward a probability theory for product logic: states, integral representation and reasoning
The aim of this paper is to extend probability theory from the classical to the product t-norm fuzzy logic setting. More precisely, we axiomatize a generalized notion of finitely additive probability for product logic formulas, called state, and show ...

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

∗-fuzzy measure model for COVID-19 disease
We introduce a mathematical model, namely, ∗-fuzzy measure model for COVID-19 disease and consider some properties of ∗-fuzzy measure such as Lebesque–Radon–Nikodym theorem.

On fuzzy BCC-ideals over a t-norm [PDF]
Using a t-norm T, the notion of T-fuzzy BCC-ideals of BCC-algebras is introduced, and some of their properties are investigated.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Ordinal Sums of De Morgan Triples
In this paper we consider the ordinal sum of the summands (a_i, b_i, T_i) ((a_i, b_i, S_i)), where (T_i)_{i\in I}$ $((S_i)_{i\in I}) are a family of t-(co)norms and $(]a_i, b_i[)_{i\in I}$ a family of nonempty, pairwise disjoint open subintervals of [0,1]
