Unleashing the Power of Machine Learning in Nanomedicine Formulation Development
A random forest machine learning model is able to make predictions on nanoparticle attributes of different nanomedicines (i.e. lipid nanoparticles, liposomes, or PLGA nanoparticles) based on microfluidic formulation parameters. Machine learning models are based on a database of nanoparticle formulations, and models are able to generate unique solutions

The Bojanov-Naidenov problem for trigonometric polynomials and periodic splines
For given $n, r \in \mathbb{N}$; $p, A > 0$ and any fixed interval $[a,b] \subset \mathbb{R}$ we solve the extremal problem $\int\limits_a^b |x(t)|^q dt \rightarrow \sup$, $q \geqslant p$, over sets of trigonometric polynomials $T$ of order $\leqslant n$

Lithium Intercalation in the Anisotropic Van Der Waals Semiconductor CrSBr
We report the lithium intercalation in the layered van der Waals crystal CrSBr, revealing strongly anisotropic ion‐migration dynamics. Optical and electrical characterization of exfoliated CrSBr shows lithium diffusion coefficients that differ by more than an order of magnitude along a‐ and b‐directions, consistent with molecular dynamics simulations ...

Isogeometric Boundary-Element Analysis for the Wave-Resistance Problem using T-splines [PDF]
In this paper we couple collocated Boundary Element Methods (BEM) with unstructured analysis suitable T-spline surfaces for solving a linear Boundary Integral Equation (BIE) arising in the context of a ship-hydrodynamic problem, namely the so-called ...

Effective T-spline representation for VRML
Less control points are needed to represent a shape in T-Splines compared to NURBS and subsequently less time is spent in modeling. While getting more and more accepted by commercial software, T-splines, however, are yet part of VRML/X3D. The T-spline VRML is proposed in this work. An effective data structure is designed for T-splines to support online

Meta‐Rod Mechanical Metamaterials With Programmable Reconfiguration
Existing mechanical metamaterials achieve programmable large deformations in planar square or cubic configurations, restricted by required complex boundary conditions. This research proposes a 1D metamaterial, Meta‐rod, with linear, bending, twisting, area, and volume deformation modes.

An isogeometric analysis for elliptic homogenization problems
A novel and efficient approach which is based on the framework of isogeometric analysis for elliptic homogenization problems is proposed. These problems possess highly oscillating coefficients leading to extremely high computational expenses while using ...

Efficient Charge Transport in Zero‐Dimensional Perovskite for Ultrahigh‐Sensitivity X‐Ray Detection
A novel mono‐octahedral 0D Bi‐based Dpy3Bi2I12 perovskite strengthens the internal hydrogen bonds and forms a quasi‐2D lattice, exhibits exceptional charge transport and mobility, achieving high X‐ray sensitivity and ultralow‐dose imaging, and setting a new benchmark for 0D detector performance.
