We present an atlas of 96 low dispersion spectra of T Tauri stars, both classical and weak-lined. The flux-calibrated spectra extend from Hβ to well blueward of the Balmer jump. Observed equivalent widths and rough blue veilings are presented. We model stars with excess emission as a combination of a weak-lined T Tauri star of a similar spectral type ...

SPECTROPOLARIMETRY OF THE CLASSICAL T TAURI STAR BP TAU [PDF]
We implement a least-squares deconvolution (LSD) code to study magnetic fields on cool stars. We first apply our code to high resolution (R ≈ 60,000) optical echelle spectra of several solar-like stars as tests of the code and to measure the mean longitudinal magnetic field on the surface of these stars.

Propagation of Highly Efficient Star Formation in NGC 7000
We surveyed the (1,1), (2,2), and (3,3) lines of NH3 and the H2O maser toward the molecular cloud L935 in the extended HII region NGC 7000 with an angular resolution of 1.6' using the Kashima 34-m telescope.

Phototrophs evolved light‐harvesting systems adapted for efficient photon capture in habitats enriched in far‐red radiation. A subset of eukaryotic pigment‐binding proteins can absorb far‐red photons via low‐energy chlorophyll states known as red forms.

X-Ray Irradiation of the Giant Planet Orbiting the T Tauri Star TAP 26
We present new Chandra X-ray observations of TAP 26, a ≈17 Myr old magnetically active weak-lined T Tauri star that has been reported to host a massive planet in a ≈10.8 day orbit.

Abstract The O‐, N‐, Mo‐, Ru‐, Os‐, Cr‐, Ti‐, Ni‐, Fe‐, Nd‐, Ca‐, Zn‐, Sr‐, and Mg‐isotopic compositions of enstatite chondrites are essentially identical to those of the Earth and Moon. These correspondences suggest enstatite chondrites formed at ≈1 AU as the only known chondrite groups that accreted in the vicinity of a major planet. Bulk Earth has a

A Predicted Great Dimming of T Tauri: Has it Begun?
The optical star in the T Tauri triple system is the prototype of young Sun-like stars in our galaxy. This complex and dynamic system has evidence for misaligned disks and outflows, and molecular material in a circumbinary ring that obscures the southern
