A Predicted Great Dimming of T Tauri: Has it Begun?

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal
The optical star in the T Tauri triple system is the prototype of young Sun-like stars in our galaxy. This complex and dynamic system has evidence for misaligned disks and outflows, and molecular material in a circumbinary ring that obscures the southern

Are Both Stars in a Classic T Tauri Binary Classic T Tauri Stars?

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 1997
Large near-IR color excesses and emission-line spectra indicate the presence of optically thick circumstellar accretion disks and active boundary layers in young stars. We investigate whether this classic T Tauri (TT) behavior is found in one or both members of a binary system previously identified as a TT on the basis of the unresolved light.

Actvity on T Tauri Stars [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Astronomical Union Colloquium, 1995
We have made a detailed investigation of the short-term variability of the classical T Tauri star BP Tauri in UBVRI. Data were collected from the Wendelstein Observatory in 1991, 1992 and 1993 with time resolutions down to 1 sec. The 0.8m telescope was equipped with a fiber-fed fifteen channel high-speed photometer (Barwig et al. 1987).

Large‐scale reproductive loss in sheep due to Border disease virus infection, New South Wales, Australia

open access: yesAustralian Veterinary Journal, EarlyView.
Border disease viruses (BDV) and bovine viral diarrhoea viruses (BVDV) are members of the Pestivirus genus in the family Flaviviridae. While BVDV is one of the most significant endemic viral infections of cattle in Australia, BDV infection is generally considered to be uncommon in Australian sheep.

Stellar wind flows in T Tauri stars [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1987
Following the successful modelling of the wind from RU Lupi using data at moderate and high dispersion we report on similar observations of other T Tauri stars where the general pattern of the wind, as deduced from the widths of the emission lines of the various species, seems to be similar.

Family‐Led Decision‐Making Meetings as an Alternative to Initial Child Protection Conferences: Findings From a Realist Evaluation of the Safeguarding Family Group Conferencing Pilot in England

open access: yesChild &Family Social Work, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Safeguarding Family Group Conferencing (FGC) is a family‐led decision‐making process offered to some families in England as an alternative to an Initial Child Protection Conference when Children's Services have safeguarding concerns. A realist evaluation was conducted within three local authorities piloting this approach to build understanding

The ODYSSEUS Survey. Characterizing Magnetospheric Geometries and Hotspot Structures in T Tauri Stars

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Magnetospheric accretion is a key process that shapes the inner disks of T Tauri stars, controlling mass and angular momentum evolution. It produces strong ultraviolet and optical emission that irradiates the planet-forming environment.

THE MAGNETIC FIELD IMPACT ON ACCRETION RATE IN A PROTOPLANETARY DISK

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2012
Recent observations are the evidence of a large-scale magnetic field in discs around classical T Tauri stars. A model of the axisymmetric thin protoplanetary disk in a global magnetic field is considered.

Polarization measurements of some T Tauri stars [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1987
T Tauri stars show linear polarization typically between 1–3%. A two band linear polarization survey of some T Tauri star was reported earlier by Bastien (1982). Most of the stars show pronounced time variability in polarization and position angle (Bastien, 1980; 1982).

c2d Spitzer IRS Spectra of Disks around T Tauri Stars. III. [Ne II], [Fe I], and H2 Gas-Phase Lines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We present a survey of mid-infrared gas-phase lines toward a sample of 76 circumstellar disks around low-mass pre-main-sequence stars from the Spitzer "Cores to Disks" legacy program.
