Abstract For studies with repeated measurements on each subject, computing t -tests at each time point or at each dose as the method of statistical analysis may lead to inconsistent and redundant results as well as increasing the chance of spurious significance. Analysis of a carefully chosen summary measure is a sensible alternative.
