A table oriented database-prolog system

Microprocessing and Microprogramming, 1989
Abstract A system which tightly integrates Prolog and relational database is presented. In our approach, a new data object “table” is extended to Prolog. Any data object may be defined as an element in a Prolog's table. So a set of clauses may be described in a table rather than in Horn clauses.

EXTRACTION OF DATABASE TABLE DESIGN BY TRANSACTIONS

Journal of Integrated Design and Process Science: Transactions of the SDPS, Official Journal of the Society for Design and Process Science, 2010
We propose a method of designing database tables from the viewpoint of transactions. Business systems run many transactions because of the request from many people or machines, such as customers and other computer systems. The transaction is usually defined for each request, though the system has to meet all the transaction.

Table Oriented Metrics for Relational Databases

Software Quality Journal, 2001
Developing and selecting high quality software applications are fundamental. It is important that the software applications can be evaluated for every relevant quality characteristic using validated metrics. Software engineers have been putting forward hundreds of quality metrics for software programs, disregarding databases.
