Advanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 8, 9 February 2026.This study reveals that the E3 ubiquitin ligase TRIM56 exacerbates neuronal ferroptosis and brain damage by mediating K48‐linked ubiquitination and degradation of KLF4, leading to suppression of the xCT/GSH/GPX4 axis. Targeting TRIM56 alleviates cerebral ischemia‐reperfusion injury in vivo and in vitro, highlighting its therapeutic potential.

Ecology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 2, February 2026.Amphibian gut microbiomes exhibit a temporal‐decay pattern in abundance‐unweighted intercommunity indices rather than abundance‐weighted indices. Stochastic processes play a dominant role in the gut microbiome assembly. Deterministic processes contribute more to large‐intestine microbiomes than to small‐intestine microbiomes.
