RFID tag antenna based temperature sensing [PDF]

open access: yes2010 IEEE International Conference on RFID (IEEE RFID 2010), 2010
Temperature monitoring is important in a number of fields, particularly cold supply chain applications. Most commercial wireless temperature sensors consist of transceivers, memory and batteries to maintain a temperature time history but this is expensive and allows for limited sensor deployment.

Low cost coplanar UHF RFID tag antenna using U-shaped feeder for metallic applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In this design, low cost coplanar slim tag antenna has been introduced for UHF band (860-960 MHz) which is designed for metallic objects. The tag antenna was proposed with proximity coupled feeding; a transmission line fed by a U-shaped inductively ...

RFID Tag Antennas

open access: yesIEICE Communications Society Magazine, 2008
近年のRFID(Radio Frequency Identification)システムの急速な普及には目覚ましいものがある.

Antennas of RFID Tags [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a rapidly developing technology which uses RF signals for automatic identification of objects. RFID system generally consists of three components: 1) A small electronic data carrying device called a transponder or tag that is attached to the item to be identified, 2) A reader that communicates with the tag using

Dual-band HF-UHF RFID tag antenna

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2009
A dual-band HF and UHF RFID tag antenna with two feeding points is presented, fabricated and measured. A convenient HF resonance is obtained with an HF ASIC chip as well as good impedance matching with UHF ASIC chip in the European RFID UHF band. Tuning techniques of the design parameters are proposed, and tag performance in both frequency bands is ...
