Current‐Driven Nonreciprocal Response of Nonequilibrium Skyrmions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 31, 4 June 2026.
A skyrmion holds great promise for spintronic applications owing to its intrinsic topological stability and high mobility under ultra‐low current excitation. Here, by means of in situ electron microscopy, we demonstrate a skyrmion diode effect and the associated current‐driven nonreciprocal skyrmion dynamics in a designed FeGe‐based microdevice.

Safety and Tolerability of Different Total Neoadjuvant Therapies in Patients With Locally Advanced Rectal Cancer

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Total neoadjuvant therapy (TNT) is the standard treatment for locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC). Few studies have focused on the toxicity of TNT. Moreover, the differences in safety and tolerability between radiotherapy‐first and chemotherapy‐first strategies remain unclear.

High Sensitivity ctDNA Analysis Using a Novel Panel and NOIR‐SS Technology for Monitoring Advanced Urothelial Carcinoma

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Advanced urothelial carcinoma (aUC) has a poor prognosis, and real‐time monitoring of treatment response remains clinically challenging. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) has emerged as a promising non‐invasive biomarker that may reflect tumor burden and molecular response.

From Design of Experiments to Analysis of Variance of Multivariate Data: A Tutorial Review on ANOVA Simultaneous Component Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Chemometrics, Volume 40, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT ANOVA simultaneous component analysis (ASCA) is the current state‐of‐the‐art chemometric tool for analyzing and interpreting high‐dimensional experimental data from a design of experiments (DoE). Being a multivariate extension of the ANOVA, ASCA makes a perfect tandem with DoE.

Within‐Population Genetic Structuring of the Cosmopolitan Fungus Schizophyllum commune in Poland and Ukraine

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 6, June 2026.
In this study, we aimed to investigate the genetic structuring of the S. commune population in Poland and Ukraine using highly informative SSR DNA markers, to identify potential environmental factors influencing gene flow, and establish the direction of genotypes dissemination.

Investigation of Adhesion in Multi‐Material TPE Systems Using T‐Peel Tests and Taguchi‐Based Parameter Optimization

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 6, June 2026.
A trilayer pellet‐extrusion concept improves adhesion between ultrasoft and soft thermoplastic elastomers in multi‐material additive manufacturing. Guided by thermal, chemical, and viscosity analysis together with Taguchi optimization, the interfacial peel resistance reaches 968.8 N m−1.

Pyoverdine Plays Only a Minor, Strain‐Specific Role in the Inhibition of Phytophthora infestans by Pseudomonas Strains

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 15, Issue 3, June 2026.
Pseudomonas strains R32 and R47 inhibit Phytophthora infestans, which causes late blight in potato. To assess the importance of pyoverdine, a high‐affinity siderophore both strains produce, in P. infestans inhibition, we produced pyoverdine‐deficient mutants and tested their antagonistic activity at different developmental stages of the pathogen ...
