Overcoming challenges of developing a live-attenuated dengue vaccine and the path forward
Introduction: The WHO declared dengue a grade 3 emergency, underscoring an urgent need for safe and effective vaccines. Challenges have hindered progress with such vaccines, including selection of an appropriate backbone, proper viral attenuation with ...

Zonated osteochondral assembloid implants are engineered through scaffold‐free spatial assembly of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)‐derived chondrocyte organoids and periosteum‐derived osteogenic organoids. Implanted into full‐thickness rat osteochondral defects, they promote hyaline‐like cartilage repair, support subchondral bone formation with ...

Catalyst coordination acts as a loaded dice biasing reaction selectivity. Single‐atom site catalysts lock intermediates in exposed configurations, enabling continued hydrogenation and favoring oxygen‐retaining products. In contrast, extended metal surfaces fully coordinate and shield reactive centers, promoting deoxygenation pathways. This work reveals

Supremacy of Dengue Vaccine Over the Conventional Treatment: A Review [PDF]
Nations with tropical climates experience a high number of dengue cases. Approximately 300 million individuals affect with dengue virus annually, around 1 million experiencing severe symptoms, resulting in 2 to 5% fatality rate.

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.

A flexible liquid‐crystalline electrolyte membrane via in situ photopolymerization of a phosphate‐functionalized mesogen, ionic liquid, and diacrylate monomer is developed. The resulting smectic B (SmB)‐phase structure enables 2D ion transport with high conductivity (10−4 S cm−1).
