Orlicz Figà – Talamanca Herz algebras and invariant means

Indagationes Mathematicae, 2019
The authors introduce and explore a generalization of Figà-Talamanca Herz algebras \(A_p(G)\); see [\textit{C. Herz}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 154, 69--82 (1971; Zbl 0216.15606)]. They indeed replace the classical \(L^p\)-spaces in the definition of \(A_p(G)\) by the Orlicz spaces \(L^\Phi(G)\), where \(\Phi\) is a Young function satisfying the \(\Delta_2\

An Archaeological Study Of Talamanca Battlefield

Journal of Conflict Archaeology, 2008

The Figa–Talamanca Herz Algebra

2011
Let G be a locally compact group. The Banach space Ap (G), generated by the coefficients of the regular representation in Lp ´ (G), is a Banach algebra for the pointwise product on G. If G is abelian then A2G/ is isomorphic to L1(Ĝ)
