The Effect of the Deformation Parameter on the Cross Sections for Reactions: Pd-110(d,n)Ag-111 and Pd-110(d, 2n)(110m) Ag [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
SARPUN, Ismail Hakki/0000-0002-9788-699XIn this study, we focused on the effects of the deformation parameter on the cross sections. First, the deformation parameters of target nucleus Pd-110 was determined within the interacting boson model (IBM). Later

Determination of nuclear excitation functions of zirconium using certain level density parameters for neutron-induced reactions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
WOS: 000496278200013Zirconium-based alloys have been widely used as structural material in the nuclear reactors. The cross-sectional values of Zr-90(n, p)Y-90, Zr-94(n,p)Y-94, Zr-94(n,alpha)Sr-91 and Zr-96(n,2n)Zr-95 nuclear reactions at this paper were ...

Thermostable Bioluminescent Intercalating Dyes for Real‐Time, Integrated Nucleic Acid Amplification and Detection

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We present a bioluminescent diagnostic platform that integrates DNA amplification and detection in a single step. The engineering of thermostable luciferase‐intercalating dye conjugates and controlled release of caged luciferin substrates enable real‐time, detection of attomolar concentrations of viral DNA within 30 min.

Excitation functions of neutron induced nuclear reactions for 59Co nucleus using different level density models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Cobalt alloys have been used in nuclear reactor design because these alloys have favourable mechanical properties at high temperatures. In this work, the nuclear cross section data of 59Co(n,2n)58Co, 59Co(n,3n)57Co, 59Co(n,4n)56Co, 59Co(n,np)58Fe, 59Co(n,

Photo-neutron cross-section calculations of 54,56Fe, 90,91,92,94Zr, 93Nb and 107Ag isotopes with newly obtained giant dipole resonance parameters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
The knowledge of the interaction of photons with matter is of vital importance to investigate fundamental nu- clear physics problems. Giant dipole resonance (GDR) mechanism is dominant up to 30 MeV at photo-absorption cross-section.

Evaluation of the production capabilities of 18F, 11C, 13N and 15O PET isotopes at the PET-cyclotron-radiochemistry site of Messina University

open access: yesAtti della Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti : Classe di Scienze Fisiche, Matematiche e Naturali, 2017
The production of 18F, 11C, 13N, and 15O positron emitting radionuclides for PET imaging is usually accomplished in Nuclear Medicine Departments through direct nuclear reactions induced by protons accelerated by compact medical cyclotrons on liquid or ...

Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.
