Knowledge-Based Fusion for Image Tampering Localization [PDF]
In this paper we introduce a fusion framework for image tampering localization, that moves towards overcoming the limitation of available tools by allowing a synergistic analysis and multiperspective refinement of the final forensic report. The framework is designed to combine multiple state-of-the-art techniques by exploiting their complementarities ...

Transferable Adversarial Attack on Image Tampering Localization
It is significant to evaluate the security of existing digital image tampering localization algorithms in real-world applications. In this paper, we propose an adversarial attack scheme to reveal the reliability of such tampering localizers, which would be fooled and fail to predict altered regions correctly.

Fingerprint watermarking with tamper localization and exact recovery using multi-level authentication [PDF]
This paper presents the tamper localization and exact recovery using multi-level authentication in fingerprint watermarking. The proposed scheme will be detecting the tampered sector of fingerprint images when the watermark is embedded in the original ...

Attack characterisation of compressed images [PDF]
We propose the use of robust watermarks to enable the characterisation of attacks even after lossy compression, such as JPEG and JPEG2000. A previously constructed Bayesian framework is used to allow characterisation of attacks from a predetermined ...

Local Content Based Image Authentication for Tamper Localization [PDF]
Digital images make up a large component in the multimedia information. Hence Image authentication has attained a great importance and lead to the development of several image authentication algorithms. This paper proposes a block based watermarking scheme for image authentication based on the edge information extracted from each block.

Digital transmission of sensitive images and documents over unsecure networks, such as the Internet, has become a general practice. As a result, the digital content has become vulnerable to intentional and unintentional modifications during transmission.

Nested Block Based Double Self-Embedding Fragile Image Watermarking With Super-Resolution Recovery
Self-recovery capability is challenging in developing fragile watermarking alongside authentication and tamper localization. In certain situations, authentication and tamper localization alone may not be sufficient.
