A Flight of Tokarczuk Translators: Remarks on Collaboration and Cooperation
Olga Tokarczuk’s texts became eagerly translated even before she was honoured with the Nobel Prize. As a result, many literary translators have dealt and continue to deal with her texts. This paper will be an attempt to investigate reasons for co-working

Eliminating the possible redundancy from a set of candidate motifs occurring in an input string is fundamental in many applications. The existing techniques proposed to extract irredundant motifs are not suitable when the motifs to search for are structured, i.e., they are made of two (or several) subwords that co-occur in a text string s of length n ...

Abolishing Retro-Transduction of Producer Cells in Lentiviral Vector Manufacturing
Transduction of producer cells during lentiviral vector (LVV) production causes the loss of 70–90% of viable particles. This process is called retro-transduction and it is a consequence of the interaction between the LVV envelope protein, VSV-G, and the ...

Bifacial Si Heterojunction-Perovskite Organic-Inorganic Tandem to Produce Highly Efficient Solar Cell [PDF]
As single junction thin-film technologies, both Si heterojunction (HIT) and Perovskite based solar cells promise high efficiencies at low cost. One expects that a tandem cell design with these cells connected in series will improve the efficiency further.

Alternative Pathways for Multiple Exciton Generation Solar Cells by Tandem Configurations [PDF]
Multiple exciton generation solar cells (MEGSCs) undergo low efficiency due to material imperfections such as nonradiative recombination This paper introduces alternative approaches for realizing photovoltaic (PV) devices similar to MEGSCs. Furthermore, we reorganize the detailed balance equation of MEGSCs such that it is similar to that of independent

We put forward a novel strategy to achieve formation of fully three-dimensional light bullets. The new scheme is based on tandem structures where nonlinearity and group-velocity dispersion required for the self-trapping of light are spatially distributed, opening the door for the possibility that they are not necessarily contributed by the same crystal.

TandEM: Titan and Enceladus mission [PDF]
TandEM was proposed as an L-class (large) mission in response to ESA's Cosmic Vision 2015-2025 Call, and accepted for further studies, with the goal of exploring Titan and Enceladus. The mission concept is to perform in situ investigations of two worlds tied together by location and properties, whose remarkable natures have been partly revealed by the ...
