Structure elucidation of phase II metabolites by tandem mass spectrometry: an overview

Journal of Chromatography A, 2005
The present paper provides a summary of the collision-induced dissociation of protonated and deprotonated phase II metabolites of drugs and pesticides. This overview is based on published literature and unpublished data from the authors. In particular, glutathione conjugates and their biotransformation products are discussed in detail. In addition, the

Hybrid interventions for tandem occlusions in acute phase of ischemic stroke

Khirurgiya. Zhurnal im. N.I. Pirogova, 2022
To evaluate the effectiveness of hybrid interventions, i.e. endovascular mechanical thrombectomy from intracranial arteries combined with open thrombectomy or carotid endarterectomy from extracranial internal carotid artery. We analyzed 16 patients who underwent mechanical thrombectomy/thrombaspiration combined with open surgery between January 2014 and

Speckle-phase measurement in a tandem-vortex coronagraph

Applied Optics, 2011
A tandem-vortex coronagraph can in theory enable high-contrast imaging behind a classical on-axis telescope. Here we point out that a tandem-vortex coronagraph configuration can also directly enable the measurement of the phases of focal-plane speckles, thereby allowing for their suppression in the resultant high-contrast image.

Optical isolator using two tandem phase modulators

Optics Letters, 2011
We propose and demonstrate an integrated optical isolator in InP using two phase modulators in series. The phase modulators are driven with a single-frequency signal in quadrature. Theoretically there is no effect on the forward signal, and the carrier of the backward signal can be eliminated, the energy distributed to other frequencies.

Phased Array Measurements of Tandem Cylinder Noise

19th AIAA/CEAS Aeroacoustics Conference, 2013
Landing gear noise is a key component of airframe noise during aircraft approach. In the present study we experimentally investigate a simplified landing gear model consisting of two cylinders in a tandem configuration. The cylinders are located at the exit of a jet flow facility operating at low subsonic speeds.

The role of neat substrates in phase-vanishing and tandem phase-vanishing reactions

Tetrahedron Letters, 2008
Abstract Phase-vanishing reactions are triphasic reactions, which involve a reagent, a liquid perfluoroalkane as a phase screen and a substrate. Aromatization, isomerization and halogenation of neat substrates under phase-vanishing conditions gave the expected products in good to excellent yields.
