Tandem solid-phase extraction of atrazine ozonation products in water

The preconcentration of aqueous solutions containing atrazine degradation products was investigated using solid-phase extraction on octadecyl and cation-exchanger silica phases. The retention and elution steps were studied and evaluated separately in order to define and optimize the critical experimental parameters involved.

Phasing of tandem crystals for nonlinear optical frequency conversion

Abstract We point out that tandem nonlinear crystals for optical frequency conversion made of the same material can in most cases be oriented to obtain walk-off reversal, as well as the same sign and magnitude of the nonlinear coefficient. This is always possible when there are two o-rays, and in most cases is possible when there are two e-rays.

ERS2-ENVISAT cross-validation during the tandem phase

ERS2 and ENVISAT have been flying in tandem over the same orbit with 30min delay for about 1 year. We use the data from the 2 satellites for this period. We have reprocessed the ERS2 data from waveform altimeter product over all surfaces. We developed a number of corrections to be used in conjunction and computed homogeneously for the 2 satellites.
