A quantum‐secured authentication framework, QSAFE‐V, is introduced for vehicular Tactile Internet environments. By integrating Quantum Identity Tokens, lattice‐based cryptography, and edge‐assisted verification, the framework enables lightweight mutual authentication with strong resistance against replay, impersonation, and quantum‐enabled attacks ...

ABSTRACT Background Research has shown significant underdiagnoses in adults with intellectual disabilities, highlighting the need for objective health measurements to prevent overshadowing. Physical fitness, crucial for health and functioning, is consistently poor in this population, increasing the risk of adverse outcomes.

Analysis of tandem fluid queues [PDF]
We consider a model consisting of two fluid queues driven by the same background continuous-time Markov chain, such that the rates of change of the fluid in the second queue depend on whether the first queue is empty or not.

Human + AI in Accounting: Early Evidence from the Field
ABSTRACT This paper provides early evidence on the integration and impact of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in accounting at the accountant and task levels. Using survey data from 277 professional accountants, we document substantial heterogeneity in adoption patterns, perceived benefits, and concerns about GenAI.

Approximate analysis of single-server tandem queues with finite buffers [PDF]
In this paper, we study single-server tandem queues with general service times and finite buffers. Jobs are served according to the Blocking-After-Service protocol.

Abstract Developing protein interaction–based technologies such as biosensors requires a clear understanding of receptor‐target kinetics. Nanobodies, which are camelid‐derived single‐domain antibodies, are ideal biosensor receptors due to their high specificity, stability, and ease of production. During biosensor development, multiple nanobody variants

Convergence of tandem Brownian queues [PDF]
AbstractIt is known that in a stationary Brownian queue with both arrival and service processes equal in law to Brownian motion, the departure process is a Brownian motion, identical in law to the arrival process: this is the analogue of Burke's theorem in this context.

DELAY IN A TANDEM QUEUEING MODEL WITH MOBILE QUEUES: AN ANALYTICAL APPROXIMATION [PDF]
In this paper, we analyze the end-to-end delay performance of a tandem queueing system with mobile queues. Due to state-space explosion, there is no hope for a numerical exact analysis for the joint-queue-length distribution. For this reason, we present an analytical approximation that is based on queue-length analysis.
