INHERITANCE OF TANNIN QUANTITY IN SORGHUM

The vanillin assay was used to estimate the tannin content of 13 F2 populations. The analysis revealed an intermediate to high broad-sense heritability for tannin quantity. Similar F2 segregation patterns and F1\u27s in many crosses suggested a few genes.
