open access: yesMicrobial Biotechnology, Volume 18, Issue 12, December 2025.
Olanzapine induces hepatic steatosis with differential susceptibility observed in both rats and patients, while A. muciniphila alleviates liver lipid accumulation and injury by modulating gut microbiota and hepatic gene expression. Overexpression of IGFBP2 and APOA1 further protects against olanzapine‐induced hepatic steatosis.
