Hydrocarbon gases in seafloor sediments of the TATAR strait, the northern sea of Japan
Geo-Marine Letters, 2019The distributions of hydrocarbon gases (HCGs) from C1-C5 in seafloor sediments of the South Tatar sedimentary basin (northern Sea of Japan) were obtained during five research cruises from 2012 to 2017. As a result of this work, areas of gas hydrates, gas flares, and anomalous gas concentrations were discovered.

Peculiarities of Water Circulation in the Southern Tatar Strait
Izvestiya, Atmospheric and Oceanic Physics, 2018Satellite altimetry data have been used to study water circulation in the Tatar Strait region (the northern part of the Sea of Japan) for the time period from 1993 to 2015. Seasonal and interannual variations in current velocities in the southern Tatar Strait (46°–50° N) have been found to be determined by the difference in sea level (SL) between the ...

Fishery and traditional fishing problems of Pacific salmon on Tatar strait coast (Khabarovsk region)
Fisheries, 2021The peculiarities of the fishing of Pacific salmon, especially pink salmon, on the coast of the Tatar Strait (Khabarovsk region) are considered. After the 2016 harvest generation, there has been a significant decline in approaches in 2018 and 2020. The problems of traditional fishing by aboriginal peoples have been analyzed.

Inland Water Biology, 2020
The distribution of organic matter (OM), hydrocarbons, phytopigments and ecological–trophic groups of bacteriobenthos has been investigated in the bottom sediments of the internal estuaries of the small Muchke and Toki rivers. The morphological and hydrological characteristics of estuaries influence the quantitative and qualitative composition of the ...

Geochemistry International, 2020
The paper presents data on the composition of organic matter (OM) in the surface layer of bottom sediments (BS) in two small estuaries in the southwestern part of the Tatar Strait (as of summer of 2014 and 2016). The concentration of hydrocarbons (HC) varied from 0.01 to 2.0 mg/g.

Results of Magnetic-Variation Sounding of the Tatar Strait at Two Points on Its Opposite Shores
Russian Geology and Geophysics, 2020Abstract —Results of magnetic-variation sounding on the opposite shores of the Tatar Strait are presented. The resulting frequency dependences of tippers serve as a basis for 3D inversion carried out using the ModEM software. The inversion yields horizontal and vertical sections of the Tatar Strait in a 400×400×400 km area along the x, y,

Probability estimation of ice encounter in the Tatar Strait on the route De-Kastri - the ice edge
