. On November 30, 2020, at 22h54m UTC, an earthquake with a magnitude Mw=6.4 occurred in the Tatar Strait at a depth of 600 km. The earthquake was felt in the vast territory of the Russian Far East and on the islands of the Japanese ridge. The seismic event was recorded by seismic stations of international agencies and regional seismological centers.
