EST‐SSR‐based landscape genetics of Pseudotaxus chienii, a tertiary relict conifer endemic to China
Landscape and environmental heterogeneity play important roles in the spatial genetic structure and the adaptive evolution of P. chienii. Adaptive gene indeed occurred in genome of P. chienii and made the plant to have adaptive potential in response to severe environmental stress. These factors related to adaptation should be specially considered in ex

GC-MS Analysis of Chemical Components of Taxus Chinensis Var. Mairei Seeds [PDF]
The extracts of petroleum ether, methanol, ethyl acetate and ether from Taxus chinensis var. mairei seeds were analyzed by GC-MS, and relative contents were determined using a normalized method. 56 peaks were obtained from extracts of spermoderm and 79 peaks from endosperm of T. chinensis var. mairei.

A new taxane diterpenoid fromTaxus chinensisvar.mairei
Taxadiene (3), a new taxane diterpenoid with an unusual hydroxy substituting at C-17, and six known compounds including two taxane diterpenoids (1 and 2) and four flavonoids (4–7) were isolated from the whole seedling of the Taxus chinensis var. mairei. Among them, compound 7 was isolated from T. chinensis var. mairei for the first time.
