Generalized Taylor Series Method for Solving Nonlinear Fractional Differential Equations with Modified Riemann-Liouville Derivative

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2015
We propose an efficient analytic method for solving nonlinear differential equations of fractional order. The fractional derivative is defined in the sense of modified Riemann-Liouville derivative.

Develop blood oxygen level dependent signal by metabolic/hemodynamic model using numerical methods

open access: yesInformatics in Medicine Unlocked, 2023
Background and objective: The metabolic/hemodynamic (MH) model describes the blood flow mechanisms as well as the coupling between the hemodynamic responses and the metabolic activities in a blood vessel in the human brain.

Viscoelasticity‐Induced Controllable Periodic Meso‐Textures of Liquid Crystal Polymers in Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Viscoelasticity‐driven instabilities are harnessed to create tunable, periodic textures in 3D‐printed liquid crystalline polymers. This study illustrates how processing parameters control these spontaneous meso‐scale patterns. These unique structural architectures unlock new possibilities for functional devices, ranging from photonic components to ...

Low-complexity channel estimation in massive MIMO based on Kaptyn series expansion

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2016
In order to reduce the complexity of the massive MIMO channel estimation, a channel estimation method based on Kapteyn series expansion was proposed. By using Taylor series to expand the inversion, the complexity was greatly reduced.

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.

An Alternative Approach to Energy Eigenvalue Problems of Anharmonic Potentials

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2014
Energy eigenvalues of quartic and sextic type anharmonic potentials are obtained by using an alternative method called asymptotic Taylor expansion method (ATEM) which is an approximate approach based on the asymptotic Taylor series expansion of a ...

Interval Arithmetic, Affine Arithmetic, Taylor Series Methods: Why, What Next?

open access: yesNumerical Algorithms, 2004
The authors consider \(N\)-dimensional families of functions of the type \[ \{C_1F_1(x_1,\dots,x_n)+\dots+C_NF_N(x_1,\dots,x_n) \mid C_1,\dots,C_N\in \mathbb{R}\}, \] where \(F_1,\dots,F_N\) are analytic functions. Assuming that a transitive relation \(\succeq\) on the set of all \(N\)-dimensional families is given, they call the relation final if ...
