Phytochemicals in Food and Medicine, Volume 1, Issue 4, December 2026.
Industrialised bacuri seed butter (Platonia insignis Mart.) exhibited antioxidant and vasorelaxant effects, improving vascular reactivity and oxidative stress biomarkers in hypertensive rats. These findings highlight MIB as a promising natural product for mitigating hypertension‐associated vascular dysfunction and oxidative stress.
