Investigation on SP and TCT Photovoltaic Array Configurations under Obscured Shading Conditions
2020 IEEE 7th Uttar Pradesh Section International Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering (UPCON), 2020Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems are under consideration as a viable energy conversion system on an industrial scale. A limitation to PV systems are non-uniform shading, which lower the performances of the installation. Reflection on the electrical interconnections of the solar panels can be performed to overcome this issue.

The power production of a PV array decreases due to some specific factors such as temperature, shading, soiling, non-uniform aging of PV modules etc. The nonuniform aging of PV modules in an array is a significant factor of power degradation. This increases current-voltage (1- V) mismatch among the array modules and causes power loss.
