tDCS/tACS and plasticity

Clinical Neurophysiology, 2016
Non-invasive brain stimulation with transcranial direct or alternating currents (tDCS and tACS) modulates neuronal activity and excitability in the human brain. The primary effect of both techniques is assumed to be an alteration of neuronal resting membrane potential. tDCS induces tonic alterations, whereas tACS has oscillatory effects.

Parametrisation of TDCS in a Plane

1997
In (e, 2e) experiments, the electrons with momentum k o impinge onto the gas target with an energy large enough to ionize the atoms. After the collision, the pairs of electrons leaving the target with momenta k a and k b are counted in coincidence.

The Learning Dimension of TDC

2003
The following section provides an overview and an introduction for managers and practitioners to the world of learning theory as the underlying basis for following sections of the book. Don’t get scared. This chapter emphasizes the business-oriented learning aspects as part of the templatedriven consulting approach, as this approach depends to a large ...

Principles of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS): Introduction to the Biophysics of tDCS

2019
This chapter summarizes the current knowledge about the biophysics of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). It begins by illustrating the basic physical principles by which weak electric currents applied transcranially induce an electric field inside the brain.

Theory of TDC Operation

2010
This chapter addresses theoretical aspects of time-to-digital converters. First the basic shape of a TDC input–output characteristic is explained. The quantization error that arises from the mapping of a continuous into a discrete signal domain is revisited.

UL-3DMA in TDC

2018
This dataset is related to the scientific publication "Age-related changes in upper limb motion during typical development" that can be found under the link 10.1371/journal.pone.0198524 by Simon-Martienz et al (2018). This data contains single subject kinematic and spatiotemporal parameter data, whereby each row is a single subject.

The Tool Dimension of TDC

2003
This section now focuses on the explicit and detailed description of templates as such and their development. In my experience, many people use the word template but without even being aware of the content and the meaning behind it. This always makes me laugh, as I have to recall my time at Perot Systems Inc., Dallas (Texas), selling eBusiness Services
