Temporal dominance of sensations (TDS) as a sensory profiling technique
Abstract Temporal dominance of sensations (TDS) is a relatively recent method in the sensory field aiming at collecting the sequence of the dominant sensations perceived by the subject during the tasting of a product. For instance, while tasting a piece of chocolate from intake to swallowing, the subject can successively perceive the attributes crunchy,

Application of TDS technique to developed reservoirs
Abstract Well test interpretation methods for a single well in infinite reservoirs may not be suitable for those wells when their pressure is affected by other wells operating in the same reservoir. This effect becomes more significant as both the flow rate and the test duration increase.

Determination of automobile paint thickness using non-contact THz-TDS technique
We use pulsed THz-TDS as a non-contact method for the measurement of thickness in automobile paint on a non-metallic substrate. We use a least square algorithm in order to fit the reflected pulses of each layer. Extracting the delay of each from the theoretical function allows us to know the thickness of each layer present in the system.

Pressure transient analysis for long homogeneous reservoirs using TDS technique
Abstract A significant number of well pressure tests are conducted in long, narrow reservoirs with close and open extreme boundaries. It is desirable not only to appropriately identify these types of systems but also to develop an adequate and practical interpretation technique to determine their parameters and size, when possible.

Estimating Reservoir Parameters Using Thermal Transient Testing (TDS Technique)
Abstract In the estimation of most reservoir parameters in well test, the reservoir is assumed to be isothermal which is practically not true due to the fact that there are heat sources from friction in the wellbore, work done by the drill bit and as well as thermal recovery. Although, this temperature change is small, it can serve other

On low-complexity joint-detection techniques for TD-CDMA
IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, 2005This paper is focused on low-complexity joint-detection (JD) algorithms, where the computational complexity is reduced using banks of discrete Fourier transformations. Mainly, we have developed a fast hybrid zero-forcing block decision-feedback equalizer (H-ZF-BDFE) combining the Fourier-based JD scheme (IEEE J. Sel. Areas Commun., vol. 19, p.

Performance of call admission control techniques for TD-CDMA systems
2003 IEEE 58th Vehicular Technology Conference. VTC 2003-Fall (IEEE Cat. No.03CH37484), 2003TD-CDMA (time division code division multiple access) systems adopt a hybrid access scheme. Using different spreading codes several radio carriers are defined on the same bandwidth. On each carrier a time frame is used to multiplex different channels. So a channel is defined by a code and a time slot.

An energy-efficient concurrent dual-band Doherty power amplifier (PA) and its related digital predistortion (DPD) for TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE multi-standard wireless communications are investigated in this paper. Due to the proposed inter-modulation tuning technique, the PA efficiency and output power in concurrent operation mode are improved significantly.
