PARR reduction of TD-SCDMA with Joint Transmission technique

2010 10th International Symposium on Communications and Information Technologies, 2010
Joint Detection (JD) technique is used to reduce intersymbol interference (ISI) and multiple access interference (MAI) in current downlink (DL) of Time-Division Synchronous Code-Division-Multiple-Access (TD-SCDMA). However, the technique requires significant calculation and channel estimator in mobile station (MS), causing complexity in MS.

Comparison of the single reflection and total reflection TDS techniques

Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1984
The single reflection TDS technique is compared with the total reflection technique on the basis of measurements performed on ethanediol and formamide over the frequency range of 108-1010 Hz. While confirming that single reflection TDS does indeed offer superior precision for measurements on high permittivity materials, such as water and formamide, at ...

A Novel Synchronization Technique Based on Kalman Filter for TD-SCDMA

2010 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Software Engineering, 2010
TD-SCDMA is the 3G mobile communication air interface specification released by International Telecommunication Union (ITU). As a TDD system, synchronization in TD-SCDMA is a key influence factor of Quality of Service (QoS). Considering that mobile communication systems work in the environment of serious interference, multipath propagation and Doppler ...

Application of Smart Antenna Interference Suppression Techniques in TD-SCDMA Systems

2009 Sixth International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery, 2009
The quality of mobile communications have been severely affected by interference among users in TD-SCDMA, in allusion to this problem, the smart antenna adaptive beam-forming algorithm are researched deeply in the thesis. According to the technical features that smart antenna can adaptive track the user signals realize the design and simulation of ...

Advanced FD-TD Techniques for the CAD of 3D Microwave Components

Electromagnetics, 2003
Advanced techniques for the finite difference time domain (FD-TD) method are described, which improve the efficiency of the simulation of three-dimensional (3D) microwave components, including structures of more general shape. The formulations are based on a combination of a direct subgrid technique with a locally conformal FD-TD algorithm for ...

Iterative multiuser detection for TD-CDMA exploiting data estimate refinement techniques

Proceedings IEEE 56th Vehicular Technology Conference, 2003
An iterative multiuser detection scheme with data estimate refinement is presented and analyzed. Iterative multiuser detection with data estimate refinement can be looked at as an application of the general turbo principle. FEC coding with modulation and CDMA spreading can be considered as a serially concatenated code.

Efficient simulation of high speed digital circuits using time adaptive FD-TD technique

25th European Microwave Conference, 1995, 1995
A technique is proposed for increasing the computational efficiency of a mixed-mode FDTD ciruit simulator. The FDTD algorithm is coupled to a set of equations which describes both linear and non linear lumped elements. The simulation time step is adaptively adjusted by monitorng the convergence of the Newton-Raphson procedure adopted for the non-linear
