Advanced FD-TD Techniques for the CAD of 3D Microwave Components
Electromagnetics, 2003Advanced techniques for the finite difference time domain (FD-TD) method are described, which improve the efficiency of the simulation of three-dimensional (3D) microwave components, including structures of more general shape. The formulations are based on a combination of a direct subgrid technique with a locally conformal FD-TD algorithm for ...

Iterative multiuser detection for TD-CDMA exploiting data estimate refinement techniques
Proceedings IEEE 56th Vehicular Technology Conference, 2003An iterative multiuser detection scheme with data estimate refinement is presented and analyzed. Iterative multiuser detection with data estimate refinement can be looked at as an application of the general turbo principle. FEC coding with modulation and CDMA spreading can be considered as a serially concatenated code.

Efficient simulation of high speed digital circuits using time adaptive FD-TD technique
25th European Microwave Conference, 1995, 1995A technique is proposed for increasing the computational efficiency of a mixed-mode FDTD ciruit simulator. The FDTD algorithm is coupled to a set of equations which describes both linear and non linear lumped elements. The simulation time step is adaptively adjusted by monitorng the convergence of the Newton-Raphson procedure adopted for the non-linear

Anti-Collision RFID System Based on Combination of TD and Gold Code Techniques
Advanced Science and Technology Letters, 2015Radio-frequency identification (RFID) communication system known as auto-id has experienced tremendous growth worldwide, considering as a flexible mechanism for identification of objects. Degradation of data transmission due to external interference and interference of RFID system itself (tags and reader collision) is one of the most important factors ...

Comparative study of joint-detection techniques for TD-CDMA based mobile radio systems
IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, 2001Third-generation mobile radio systems use time division-code division multiple access (TD-CDMA) in their time division duplex (TDD) mode. Due to the time division multiple access (TDMA) component of TD-CDMA, joint (or multi-user) detection techniques can be implemented with a reasonable complexity. Therefore, joint-detection will already be implemented

Simple and efficient space-time channel and DOA estimation techniques in TD-SCDMA systems
Journal of Electronics (China), 2006In this paper, a simple method is presented for multi-user space-time channel estimation in Time Division-Synchronized Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) systems. The method is based on a specific midamble assignment strategy, which results in a cyclic Toeplitz midamble-matrix in the linear equation of the received data vectors.

Abstract Wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) measurement systems have been widely used in patients with CVD (Cardiovascular Disease) which can be worn in daily lives. However, currently the main problem is motion artifact interference, and reducing motion artifacts (MA) is one of the most challenging problems encountered in the filtering and processing ...

Implementation of surface impedance concepts in the finite-difference time-domain (FD-TD) technique
International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation Society, Merging Technologies for the 90's, 1990It is shown how surface impedance concepts can be incorporated into the FD-TD technique. To show the accuracy of the proposed approximation, the maximum percent error for any angle of incidence versus loss tangent p is graphed. It is demonstrated that the impulse responses can be approximated by a series of exponential functions, typically 5 to 10. The

[Determination of Carbaryl in Rice by Using FT Far-IR and THz-TDS Techniques].
Guang pu xue yu guang pu fen xi = Guang pu, 2016Determination of carbaryl in rice by using Fourier transform far-infrared (FT- Far-IR) and terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) combined with chemometrics was studied and the spectral characteristics of carbaryl in terahertz region was investigated. Samples were prepared by mixing carbaryl at different amounts with rice powder, and then a 13 mm
