Introduction. Interchange designs that provide specific benefits to road users will always be of interest. It is extremely interesting a type of interchange in the same level named in literary sources as a «hamburger roundabout» or «throughabout ...

Whole liver phase-based R2 mapping in liver iron overload within a breath-hold. [PDF]
Abstract Purpose Diagnosis and treatment monitoring of iron overload increasingly relies on non‐invasive MRI‐based measurement of liver iron concentration (LIC). Liver R2 mapping is known to correlate well with LIC. However, traditional spin‐echo based R2 mapping methods have drawbacks such as long acquisition times and limited volumetric coverage.

The study identifies a NIPAL1‐driven metabolic‐epigenetic circuit in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma that promotes glycolysis, lactate accumulation, and H3K18 histone lactylation, forming a self‐sustaining loop that suppresses CD8+ T cell immunity.

Simple Access to a Series of Higher Substituted Pentafluoroorthotellurate‐Based Silanes
The pentafluoroorthotellurate ligand was introduced to organo silanes. A variety of silanes with the formular RxSi(OTeF5)4–x were synthesized and characterized via spectroscopic techniques and sc‐XRD. The influence of the number of OTeF5 groups on structural properties as well as the fluoride ion affinities (FIA) has been studied and compared to other ...

Abstract Purpose UTE MR imaging captures quantitative signals in fast‐relaxing tissues, enabling anatomical visualization and quantitative assessment of T1 and T2*$$ {\mathrm{T}}_2^{\ast } $$ relaxation times. However, the clinical application of quantitative UTE MRI is limited by long acquisition times.

Liver fat quantification at 0.55 T enabled by locally low‐rank enforced deep learning reconstruction
Abstract Purpose The emergence of new medications for fatty liver conditions has increased the need for reliable and widely available assessment of MRI proton density fat fraction (MRI–PDFF). Whereas low‐field MRI presents a promising solution, its utilization is challenging due to the low SNR.

Background Esophageal cancer, a common digestive malignant neoplasm globally, poses significant health risks. Huazhuo Runzao Jiangqi (HRJ) formula, modified from the classic “Qige Powder” with additions and reductions, has shown clear efficacy in treating esophageal cancer and precancerous lesions in clinical practice and preliminary studies ...

Network Neuroscience of Human Multitasking: Local Connections Matter
Multitasking limitations can be related to how our senses interact in the brain. This study shows that performance costs in multitasking depend on local brain connections—especially between hearing and control areas—rather than broad brain network differences, supporting the idea that sensory overlap drives multitasking difficulties.
