BHLHE40 Orchestrates Effector Tissue‐Resident Memory CD8+ T Cells and Limits Long‐Term Survival of Kidney Graft

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An effector subset of TRM, defined as CD49a+PD1hi CD8+ TRM, represents a BHLHE40‐orchestrated resident immune component that, rather than circulating cells, plays as a major contributor to allograft rejection. ABSTRACT Tissue‐resident memory T cells (TRM), which function against tumors, infections, and non‐self antigens in organ transplantation ...

The Formation of Professional Identity and the Socialization of Teacher Educators in England: Evidence from the field. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004

Cascade Therapy of Periodontitis via Sequential Release of Ribosome‐Targeting Antimicrobial Peptide and Irisin From a Multifunctional MOF‐Based System

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a novel strategy for periodontitis treatment by co‐delivering a membrane‐ and ribosome‐targeting antimicrobial peptide GF and Irisin through a pH‐responsive metal‐organic framework. The system enables sequential release, providing rapid antibacterial action, anti‐inflammatory and antioxidative effects, as well as promoting bone ...

PIK3CA Mutations Downregulate PPT1 to Promote Adipogenesis by Suppressing P300 Depalmitoylation and Phase Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that somatic PIK3CA mutations suppress PPT1 expression via activation of the PI3K–AKT–c‐JUN axis. This reduction in PPT1 weakens its interaction with P300, thereby increasing palmitoylation at C1176 of P300 and protecting P300 from lysosomal degradation.
