Sliding Mode Controllers for Standalone PV Systems: Modeling and Approach of Control
This paper presents a single-phase standalone photovoltaic (PV) system with two stages of converters. The aim of this work is to track the maximum power point (MPP) so as to transfer the maximum available power to the load and to control the output ...

The Acoustic Characteristics of Tectonically Deformed Coal in Huaibei Coalfield
Tectonically deformed coal (TDC) is closely related to gas outbursts. Since TDC exploration is an essential objective for coalfield exploration, it is of great significance to study the petrophysical properties of TDCs and explore their differences. This

The process of cooperative problem solving can be divided into four stages. First, finding potential team members, then forming a team followed by constructing a plan for that team. Finally, the plan is executed by the team. Traditionally, very simple protocols like the Contract Net protocol are used for performing the first two stages of the process ...

Two-phase galaxy evolution: the cosmic star formation histories of spheroids and discs [PDF]
From two very simple axioms: (1) that active galactic nucleus activity traces spheroid formation, and (2) that the cosmic star formation history is dominated by spheroid formation at high redshift, we derive simple expressions for the star formation ...

Extended Weyl-Type Theorems for Direct Sums
In this paper, we study the stability of extended Weyl and Browdertype theorems for orthogonal direct sum S⊕T, where S and T are bounded linear operators acting on Banach space.

Win-stay lose-shift strategy in formation changes in football [PDF]
Managerial decision making is likely to be a dominant determinant of performance of teams in team sports. Here we use Japanese and German football data to investigate correlates between temporal patterns of formation changes across matches and match ...
