Controle químico da "ERGOT" (Claviceps africana Frederickson, Mantle & de Milliano) ou doença-açucarada e das principais doenças foliares do sorgo (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) Chemical control of "ERGOT"(Claviceps africana Frederickson, Mantle & de Milliano) or sugary disease and the main foliar diseases of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench)

Fungicide suspensions combined with hot-water treatments affect endogenous Neofusicoccum parvum infections and endophytic fungi in dormant grapevine canes

open access: yesPhytopathologia Mediterranea, 2020
Neofusicoccum parvum is an important opportunistic fungus causing Botryosphaeria dieback on grapevines. Because of its opportunistic nature, this pathogen spreads to many grape growing areas in a latent phase, and causes serious economic losses. The aims

Morpho‐physiological and agronomic responses of wheat varieties under artificial shade in agroforestry systems

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Volume 106, Issue 1, Page 303-316, 15 January 2026.
Abstract BACKGROUND Solar radiation is a primary constraint in silvoarable agroforestry, with yield losses near the trees well documented in temperate climates. However, genetic variability for shade tolerance remains largely unexplored. This 2‐year field trial investigated the impact of artificial shading – using nets that reduced photosynthetically ...

Evaluation of anaerobic biodegradability of wastewater from tebuconazole manufacturing

open access: yesWater Science and Technology, 2012
This study aimed to verify the biological anaerobic treatability of tebuconazole effluent manufacturing. For this purpose, two preliminary batch tests were performed using an ‘anaerobic respirometer’ adjusting the initial pH of the effluent at 7.0 and 8.0, respectively (first phase). In addition, two tests (second phase) were run using sequential batch

Bio-efficacy and post harvest residual toxicity of new fungicides against sheath blight (Rhizoctonia solani) of rice (Oryza sativa)

open access: yesThe Indian Journal of Agricultural Sciences, 2018
Four new fungicidal formulations, viz. tebuconazole 50% + trifloxystrobin 25% WG, difenoconazole 25% SC, propiconazole 13.9% + difenconazole 13.9% EC and kresoxim methyl 44.3% SC were evaluated against Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn of rice (Oryza sativa L.) in

Poa annua becomes the first weed to evolve resistance to indaziflam applied preemergence and early‐postemergence

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 1, Page 539-551, January 2026.
We report the first confirmed global case of Poa annua evolving resistance to indaziflam applied both preemergence and early‐postemergence. Resistance intensified under cool temperatures, was not reversed by metabolic inhibitors, and was often linked to multiple resistance, underscoring urgent needs for integrated weed management.

Acute effect of low-dose thiacloprid exposure synergised by tebuconazole in a parasitoid wasp.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2019
Agricultural practices often involve tank-mixing and co-application of insecticides with fungicides to control crop pests. However, natural methods relying on biological control agents such as hymenopteran parasitoids have been shown to be highly ...

Isolation and Identification of Pathogenic Fungi (Colletotrichum nymphaeae and C. siamense) From Avocado and Sensitivity to Essential Oils From Pelargonium graveolens or Cordia verbenacea

open access: yesPlant Pathology, Volume 75, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
This study reveals the effectiveness of essential oils as biofungicide agents against phytopathogens, advancing the understanding of their antimicrobial properties. The findings highlight the importance of the sustainable use of these compounds for disease control in plants, contributing to more ecological agricultural practices. ABSTRACT The effective
