This study investigates the three-dimensional (3D) crosslinked network of wood under thermohydromechanical (THM) treatment and elucidates the mechanisms by which THM disrupts this network, causing loss of the shape memory effect (SME).

Exciton Binding Energy of Phosphorescent Emitter Molecules in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes
Energy level alignment is key to efficient OLED design, yet determining LUMO energies remains challenging. A methodology based on field‐induced dissociation and kinetic Monte Carlo simulations is presented to extract LUMO energies of iridium‐based phosphorescent emitters from their exciton binding energy.

In the work reported herein, dipole‐engineered sulfonated carbon nanofibers enable conductive additives to actively regulate interphase formation in silicon anodes. Polar sulfonyl groups guide electrolyte decomposition to form a compact LiF‐rich interphase while promoting robust integration with silicon.
