3D Scanning Technology: Capabilities and Issues
The recent evolution of graphics technology makes it possible to in manage very complex models on inexpensive platforms. These impressive rendering capabilities should be paired with detailed and accurate digita! models. The construction of high quality 3D models is made easier by the increasing diffusion of automatic 3D measuring devices (often called

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Technological Centers as a Negotiated Context to Combine Technological Capabilities
Recent perspectives on a capabilities view of the firm often recognize the need for firms to develop an external organization. From a relational view of the industry, the external organization may include economic and non-economic exchange relationships. The decision to combine both types of relationships and its relevance for the firm can be linked to

Protein aggregates threaten proteostasis and cell health. In human cells, Hsp70–J‐domain protein‐based disaggregases remove aggregates, but how they assemble remains unclear. Our biochemical findings show that DNAJA2‐ and DNAJB1‐containing disaggregase scaffolds enhance luciferase aggregate targeting, and that Hsp70 recruitment by both J‐domain ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.
