Practical operating flexibility of a bifunctional freestanding membrane for efficient anion exchange membrane water electrolysis across all current ranges

This research presents an innovative method for fabricating substrate‐free fibrous catalyst electrodes designed for reversible bifunctional activity in anion exchange membrane (AEM) water electrolysis. These electrodes exceed current performance benchmarks in a 1 M KOH solution, accomplishing ampere‐scale water electrolysis without iR‐correction.
