Proceedings of the 2006 international workshop on Software technology transfer in software engineering, 2006In this position paper we address the issue of transferring a technology from research into an industrial organization by presenting a refined process for technology transfer. Based on over two decades of industrial experience, we identified the need for a dedicated technology engineering phase for that process.
