Inhaled technosphere regular insulin powder
Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, 2015The lungs are an effective way to deliver insulin for patients with diabetes, but an initial inhaled insulin product was withdrawn from the market because of high cost and inconsistent dosing. This article describes a recently approved inhaled insulin that appears to control blood glucose as well as rapid-acting injectable insulin.
