Horizons and Challenges: An Overview of Strategies for Circular Economy Education in Schools
ABSTRACT Education is fundamental to preparing future professionals for the transition to a circular economy (CE), and it requires the development of competences from the earliest stages of schooling. Nevertheless, teachers continue to face challenges in integrating the circular economy into classroom practice. This article presents a literature review

Social, Technological, Economic, and Policy Factors in the Circular Economy Transition in Brazil
ABSTRACT A well‐functioning circular economy (CE) integrates resilience across economic, environmental, and social dimensions. This study identifies key drivers and barriers to Brazil's CE transition through 20 semi‐structured interviews with stakeholders. Major sociocultural barriers include inadequate education and limited CE awareness, while growing

We developed an ultrasensitive and highly selective biosensor by integrating bio‐functionalized reduced graphene oxide (rGO) electrolyte‐gated transistors (EGTs) and machine learning (ML) to detect miRNAs (miR‐34a, miR‐34b, and miR‐34c) associated with cancer and neurological disorders.

Do We Really Know Why Carbon Nanotubes Grow?
The CNT growth mechanism is still debated. We propose a heterogeneous (2D) classical nucleation framework comparing pathways for graphenic patches, caps, and full CNTs. Despite its simplicity, it rationalizes key trends, including the correlation between catalyst particle size and CNT diameter.

Electron nanodiffraction mapping was used to determine that the 3D leg configuration of branched plasmonic AuAg nanostars is associated with the icosahedral symmetry of the star core, providing a deeper understanding of their growth mechanism and thus paving the way to the development of optimized synthesis protocols targeting optical enhancement ...

Antiferromagnetic Chains in a Monolayer of Molecular Qubits Assembled on Graphene
This work explores the deposition onto graphene of a dithiazole‐based molecular qubit, [Cu(dttt)2], (dttt− = 1,3,2‐dithiazole‐4‐thione‐5‐thiolate), under ultra‐high vacuum conditions. Analytical techniques, including STM, XPS, and X‐ray absorption, reveal the molecular arrangement and magnetic interactions, emphasizing the role of vdW interactions in ...

Quasi‐BIC and Reflective Mode Coupling Drives SHG Beyond the Q Factor Limit
An analytical expression is developed to relate second‐harmonic generation to both the resonance Q factor and absorptance. Simulations and experiments on a dual‐resonance 3R‐MoS2 metasurface validate the formula, showing that absorptance engineering provides an effective route to enhance SHG beyond conventional Q‐only design.
