A low‐cost protocol for the optical method of vulnerability curves to calculate P50
Abstract Premise The quantification of plant drought resistance, particularly embolism formation, within and across species, is critical for ecosystem management and agriculture. We developed a cost‐effective protocol to measure the water potential at which 50% of hydraulic conductivity (P50) is lost in stems, using affordable and accessible materials ...

Salivary Extracellular Vesicles Separation: Analysis of Ultracentrifugation‐Based Protocols
ABSTRACT Introduction The clinical potential of extracellular vesicles (EVs) is widely acknowledged, yet the standardization and reproducibility of its separation remain challenging. This study compares three protocols: ultracentrifugation (UC), UC with purification step (UC + PS), and a combined protocol using polymer‐based precipitation and UC (PBP +

Realization of finite groups as isometry groups and problems of minimality
Abstract A finite group G$G$ is said to be realized by a finite subset V$V$ of a Euclidean space Rn$\mathbb {R}^n$ if the isometry group of V$V$ is isomorphic to G$G$. We prove that every finite group can be realized by a finite subset V⊂R|G|$V\subset \mathbb {R}^{|G|}$ consisting of |G|(|S|+1)(≤|G|(log2(|G|)+1))$|G|(|S|+1) (\le |G|(\log _2(|G|)+1 ...

Electrical impedance characterization and modelling of Ti‐Β implants
Abstract Commercially pure titanium (c.p. Ti) and Ti6Al4V alloys are the most widely used metallic biomaterials in the biomedical sector. However, their high rigidity and the controversial toxicity of their alloying elements often compromise their clinical success. The use of porous β‐Titanium alloys is proposed as a solution to these issues.
